We are finally there.
CUSTOMERS PLEASE READ THE BELOW CAREFULLY
After weeks of work we are pleased to announce that today we have been successful in gaining approval for a limited boat fishing activity at Blagdon lake. As of Wednesday 27th May 2020 boat fishing will be permitted at Blagdon lake.
We appreciate that there are lots of questions that people will have, please be aware that we may not be able to answer you all straight away, it continues to be a very busy period for our team. We ask that you await further details which will be released via our website and Facebook channels before calling, messaging or emailing in. It is highly likely that there will no response or a delayed response to customers who choose to email, call or message us at this time.
Initially our boat fishing activity will be restricted to single occupancy. There may be occasional discretion used for instances where a young child, from the same household, would like to fish with parent. This will be wholly be at the discretion of the Fishery Manager. Chew Valley and Litton sites remain closed for boat fishing at present. This is primarily because we are implementing a phased re opening of our sites and offerings. Our staffing levels are also very stretched at this moment in time. We believe that it wouldn't be sensible to offer boat fishing at all of our waters immediately.
Available boats will be limited to just 12 per day and customers who have prepaid boats will have their bookings honored first. Please note that this does mean that it is likely that some of the early dates will be full before release, this includes the 27th and 28th May that are currently fully booked.
How will tickets be sold and how much will they be?
When will tickets become available?
Remaining boats will become available on Ticketsource on Wednesday 27th May. We will make an announcement on the day. We will not accept permit purchases by any other means. Tickets will be available HERE To start, boat fishing dates will be released in batches similar to that of our bank fishing activity. This will allow us to review how the procedure is working reguarly. Upon review, we may look to release boat fishing permits for a greater period of time to make it easier for customers to book.

Final note from our Fishery Manager, John Harris:
"We remind anglers to STAY ALERT as advised by the Government at this time. Remember to wash hands regularly, use hand sanitizer and wear PPE. DO NOT come to the fishery if you or members of your family are symptomatic. Never travel with people outside of your household. please respect our staff and requests as noted in the instructional video. Any violations of government or fishery guidance may result in forfeit of your permits. Please help us keep one another safe, by following guidance given you are protecting one another, yourself and the fishery.
This process will be a slow one but its important we get it right. Id urge everyone to act respectfully and sensibly when fishing our waters.
