We are almost there! Just a few competitions to programme in and we will be ready to go live with the new booking system for purchasing day and season permits.
We have decided to wait until Monday (22nd March), simply because the office will not be manned over the weekend (until the season begins) and we want to be around to answer any questions you have.

All those keen birders, you’ll be able to buy your day and season tickets online also.
A few things have changed which we’d like to make you aware of:
- All bank and boat permits are payable in advance. Exceptions will be made for competitions & practice boats; please call Woodford Lodge to arrange this. You will also need to contact us if you have a voucher you would like to use against a boat.
- Half day and single rod boat permits can be booked the day before fishing, subject to availability, by calling us at Woodford Lodge – you can view spaces available on any given day from the booking system.
If we need to cancel boats due to bad weather you will be given a credit for the same permit type to use on another day, alternatively we can process a full refund.
The tackle shop will open on 12th April when retail is allowed to recommence. If there is anything you need, please call us in advance and we will arrange ‘click and collect’.
For boat fishing, please report to the jetty area where your boat number will be allocated by our staff. You will also have the opportunity to watch our Health and Safety video prior to fishing if you have not already watched this online. Boats are normally ready to go out between 8:30am – 9:00am.
